On November the 8th Veterans Day Weekend Cherokee County SC Guardians will be paying the testing fee for all Veteran to take their HAM Radio exam for their Technician License. Please register by phone or email and please provide you DB14 at testing or Military ID.
Field Day was held at the South Carolina Trooper Station parking lot 1868 Old Georgia Hwy, Gaffney SC 29341, starting at 1400 hours (2:00pm) Saturday 28th to 1400 hours , had to shut down at approximately 10:00 6-28 due to a severe thunder storm. We operated on emergency power and trying to make as many contact across the United States for 24 hours. This is a national event, hope to see you there.

Congratulations to Lee Marion, W8CGQ, our new ARRL region two (2) DEC (District Emergency Coordinator). Covering the counties of Spartanburg, Cherokee, York, Union, Chester, Lancaster and Laurens of South Carolina.
His appointment will start on October 1, 2023.
